Alice E. Brayshaw, PA-C

Alice Brayshaw is a certified Physician Assistant serving the patients of Shasta Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine practice and ShastaOrtho Spine Institute. Alice graduated from the University of Washington MEDEX Physician Assistant Program in Seattle, Washington. Before joining ShastaOrtho Spine Institute she worked as a physician assistant in both hospital and outpatient settings in urology and neurosurgery.
Prior to completing her P.A. degree, Alice earned a master's degree in exercise physiology from San Diego State University. She earned her bachelor's degree in physical education and biology at Pacific Union College, where she also taught biology, anatomy, physiology and physical education, and earned a K though 12 teaching credential. Her experience includes ten years at Mercy Healthcare Sacramento where she served as Supervisor and Program Manager of Cardiac Reconditioning and Wellness Programs.
Alice has been a member of the Washington Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants since 2001. She has participated in several other organizations including the California Society for Cardiac Rehabilitation, the American Association for Cardiovascular Rehabilitation and the American College of Sports Medicine.
Alice grew up in Utah and California and she and her daughter have lived in Redding since 2005. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, including keeping active in her church and in her daughter's school. Alice is an avid reader and is certified and fluent in American Sign Language.
